I’ve been so busy with work I almost have no time for personal stuff, but here’s something I’ve been painting when I have a bit of time!
It’s not very refined but I really like it

The Observatory 3

This is the third and final painting in a series of 3.

Of the three rulers, this guy is the most likely to do evil things. He is definitely plotting something. His pets follow him wherever he go and they are the only living creatures that he actually likes.
This series was originally inspired by one of the dark knight posters, and the idea was born by me and MIO.

Insane Moment

This is one of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve seen this year, which occured at the end of november.
It was shot at a little pond near home. During a very short moment the sun was just between the clouds and the mountain, so there was an awesome light. When this happens while the sky is almost full of great clouds with nice textures and shapes, it’s just stunning !

The contest was fun and very challenging. I worked a good 50 hours on my entry and there are still many things I’d like to change but I just can’t work on it anymore and time until deadline has run out anyway.

I don’t expect to win anything, but I learned a lot during the process and now I have a cool piece in my gallery. It will also be part of my 2013 calendar.
